Planes, Korea, and Cameras

We had an interesting event on our flight to Beijing.  I missed most of it since I was WAY in the back of the plane.  Like most Asians and their crazy photo obsession, a women was taking pictures out the window during out flight.  All of a sudden, a flight attendant starts FREAKING out at her.  Told her to turn her camera off and NO PICTURES.  The attendant even checked that the camera was off. Hmm.. that was odd.  That wasn't part of the announcement.  They were very strict about keeping your phone off but nothing about cameras.

Then a bit later, when we were talking about it, it dawned on us that we flew over Korea.  OMG, did we almost get shot down for a dumb woman taking vacation pictures???  I think it is time Air China adds that to their announcements.  NO CAMERAS!  ACK.

I know we are four days in but we are back from an amazing holiday in Japan and I think I have caught up on sleep.  I am very excited about this year and hopefully the changes in myself I am planning.  Happy New Year to you all!
